Dr. Saad Saad is a knowledgeable and motivating pediatric surgeon that has 47 years of experience. He is affiliated with three hospitals in Eatontown, New Jersey. He was born in Palestine and later relocated to Kuwait. He is a great role model and teaches others how to achieve their goals with two simple lessons.
Dr. Saad’s life began with humble beginnings in Palestine. One day while his father was on his way to work they received word that they needed to board a bus with their mother. Not understanding what was happening, they believed that they would soon come back home. He recalls his mother leaving the house key under the welcome home mat. However, that was the last day they would see their home. Uprooted and relocated, with everything they ever owned left behind. Dr. Saad’s father had to pay an owner of a boat to take him across a river so that he could be reunited with them. Now, Dr. Saad and his family were part of the diaspora. Now a Palestinian refugee, he received good words of advice from his father that to earn respect, he must have a high-level education. Dr. Saad has held on to those words even until now. He knew to be successful he had to go to college. Looking at his circumstances at that time, he didn’t’ feel like he had a choice. After deciding to become a surgeon, Dr. Saad went to Cairo University Medical School. He graduated in 1971 with honors and holding the title of salutatorian. One accomplishment led to another. He then immigrated to the United States with hopes of becoming board certified by the United States. At that time, it was rare for any surgeon to be board certified. Of course, Dr. Saad’s persistence and drive led him to become the next board-certified pediatric surgeon. Not to mention, he was the only pediatric surgeon board certified by the United States that was fluent in Arabic and English. The accomplishment opened the door to his next significant achievement. Dr. Saad received an invitation to serve as a pediatric surgeon for the Saudi Arabia Royal family. He accepted their invitation and served their family for five years. He appreciated the work he was able to do as he not only helped the children in the Saudi Royal family, but those children in the community who needed health assistance as well. Dr. Saad believes that no one should settle for less than their goals. He also believes that they should never put off something that can be done today for tomorrow. These are wise lessons. Not to mention, coming from Dr. Saad, a man who has succeeded beyond his own expectations, there is no doubt of their accuracy. Learn more: https://www.facebook.com/drsaadsaad12
